The ETS 1G 10” Ultra Pro Race kit is designed for serious race vehicle that will see heavy track usage. This kit features a very large 27” x 10.5” x 5” bar and plate intercooler core that is intended to cool serious amounts of air at very high boost levels. It can handle turbos with compressor sections as large as a T72 with ease. This unit will give you the coldest charge air temperatures possible, and even though it is quite large, will still fit the vehicle nicely. Expect to see charge air temperatures of 95—115 degrees at the end of a full quarter mile pass.
While this kit is intended for use with large turbos, it will work very well on your smaller turbocharger and not present much if any noticeable lag increase if you aren't ready to upgrade the turbo yet but plan to in the future. The quality of this kit is unsurpassed as all of the
piping is mandrel bent, beaded, and powdercoated. The silicone couplers have
four layers of reinforcement and the T-Bolt clamps will never come off (even
at 35 psi) if properly tightened. As with all short route kits, this kit will
require enlarging the "D" shaped holes on each side of the radiator, and the
power-steering cooler will be removed. After selling over 1000 kits
without any resulting power steering problems, this does not present any type
of long-term issue.
Note: Will not work with FAL
Fan.
