This kit features a 35R center section, but this is no off the shelf Garrett turbo. In order to maximize top end horsepower the compressor housing has been swapped out for Precision's "S" cover for maximum flow. Garrett's smaller T3 exhaust housing has been exchanged for a Precision T4 with .68 A/R and V-band outlet. Combined with a tubular manifold with matching flange, the overall increase in exhaust flow is phenomenal.
Equal length 1 3/4" runners with
steel flanges are utilized on the turbo manifold. The tubular exhaust manifold's
collector directs exhaust gasses at the exhaust turbine at the same angle as the
inlet for a quick and responsive spool. This is a significant upgrade over a
cast manifold which wastes energy as exhaust gasses have to "find" their way to the turbine inlet. Excess exhaust pressure is relieved by the industry standard for performance: The Tial 44mm wastegate. Specifically tuned for this setup, this premium wastegate ensures boost control will be extremely precise.
