Best TMIC on the market! Extreme Turbo Systems has designed a direct bolt on top mount intercooler for the 04-07 Subaru STI. This intercooler features a large 19x7x4 core with 31 charge rows! Most competitor intercoolers have between 24-25 charge rows. By having 31 charge rows our intercooler has 62 heat transfers vs our competitors 48 heat transfer place which results in a greater heat transfer area. This core is designed specifically for the 2004-2007 Subaru STI this is not an off the shelf core. Unlike our competitor's intercooler, we require no modifications to the a/c line that run behind the intercooler. The intercooler also uses studs to mount the blow off valve instead of bolts, this means no stripping out the holes when over tightened. This intercooler has been designed for maximum performance.
Cast end tanks don't anodize perfectly even and will have discolored areas.
I got this for my 02 wrx and it mounted right up with no issues, didn’t even have to bend the ac lines. So far I’m very pleased with it and havent had any heat soaking issues. Thanks for the great customer service :)
Purchased this for my 05 STI and couldn't be happier with this product. Very well built! Fits in just like the stock intercooler. Saw a reduction in air temperature and after a long drive, intercooler is still cold to the touch. Highly recommended this product to anyone looking to upgrade their top mount intercooler. ETS is some of the best in the business.

Excellent TMIC setup. This is in our SF Forester Swapped with a JDM EJ205. Fitment was perfect. Worked with GFB BOV bolts as well.
Haven't completely got it installed but the staff at ETS were extremely helpful and communcative. Quality is top notch. Not exactly going in a GD STi but a STi swapped GF Impreza wagon instead. It fits very nicely with no problems and I look forward to seeing the performance once the car is tuned.
I installed this on my 02 wrx in preparation for a bigger turbo soon, fitment was perfect, tight but clears everything without an issue, has performed great without a single issue since installed
