Packaged nice. Quality materials, worked well.
Throttle response is noticeable
What a simple solution to this problem. I have a Kia Forte GT and needed to connect a 2.5 downpipe to 3 inch midpipe. After contacting customer service (which is great btw), they let me know it should work, but I may have to alter the bolt holes for my vehicle. I did need to open up the bolt holes for my application. This can be done pretty easily with a carbide bit and a Dremel. So as long as you have 2 hole flanges, this sandwich plate should work for just about any application that requires it, as long as you can alter the bolt holes to your needs.
Great product perfect fitment, first mod an you can tell the car keeps pulling past 4000 rpm, actually getting 50 miles more per tank as well
ETS Subaru '22+ WRX Axleback System
I installed the ETS 3.5 inch tip axle-back mufflers on my 2021 wrx about a year ago. Fit right, sounds a little louder than stock except better. After alot of research and thought I decided to go with the ETS catted midpipe to keep on brand. Very happy with my choice. Sound has a little deeper tone and it seems slightly quieter in the car. Everything lined up and didn't have to loosen anything for readjusting. Tips centered, no touching heat shields, and solid. I'll recheck for leaks before the snow falls.
Car has come alive. I was weary on if I should get the extreme or muffled version but opted for extreme. Cold starts are loud but once the car idles, it becomes very reasonable. Basically in the sweet spot and balance between loud but no abrasive. Virtual no cabin drone (not abalrasive, can hold a conversation and can hear music even with the terrible subaru sound system lol). Brings out the rumble in an un-obnoxious way while idling but once you get on it, the car reacts and becomes a demon. 10/10 recommended. It has that “adult” loudness and factor to it. Doesn’t sound like a fart can and I have been getting a TON of compliments on the sound from non-car friends which confirmed that this exhaust is legit. Fitment was scary good, especially with v-bands. If you’re on the fence, get the extreme.
ETS products are always great. The dual muffler was a lot louder than I expected so I’m switching to the quiet model. Fortunately I can just by the catback. Thank you
ETS Subaru WRX/STI 2015+ Catback Exhaust System
I bought this for my 2.3 saab 9000 build over a decade ago. I made 445#feet and 390hp with a sds stand alone at 27 psi on the boost gauge dropping to 25 psi at redline.
Sense then I sold the 9000. I assembled a bmw 6 cylinder e39. I used a fully built e36 m3 s52b32 engine, 3.2 liter turbo. (66/62 na-t ) I currently put down 620whp and 600#feet on pump gas with a.c. still functional. I have not experienced heat soak with this ets intercooler even after back to back to back pulls at 80* ambient temps. Just like the saab 9000, fitment is spot on perfect behind the stock e39 m5 bumper (replacing the stock a.c, puller fan. ) This bmw is on flex fuel. I'm not sure how much it makes on e85, it is dramatically faster according to the butt dyno. The CORE is approximately 20" by 16 " , just over 2" thick. Connections are 2.5" couplers.
The ordering process was simple, the item was delivered quickly, and the price was within the range of ETS's competitors. A good purchase!
I got the blue anodized top mount intercooler for my FA24 WRX, and not only does it look amazing and really fill up the space in that bay and just screams centerpiece, it has helped with performance. I'm glad I splurged on the anodizing! ETS FTW, all day!
