Our Focus RS exhaust system is the perfect addition to accentuate the attitude of this car. This exhaust system features a tightly tucked 3.0" mid pipe giving you more optimal ground clearance than any other exhaust on the market. The mid pipe connects to the muffler section using a 3.0" v-band, providing a leak free seal and allowing for a quick change race pipe at the drag strip! The rear section consist of dual 3.0" rear circuits that route into twin handmade 4.5" round stainless steel tips centered in the factory cutouts. Each of our ETS Exhaust systems is made right here in the USA at our Vancouver, WA facility.
Bought this for my man just because and he loves it! Super fast delivery, easy to install and sounds amazing (:
Fit perfectly. Sounds great.
Love it came in pretty quick and probably will be making more purchases through ets
I was worried it was going to be too loud but its not at all. Install took about an hour. Everything went together super easy. Everything I needed was included. Sounds great and can still be quiet when I want to.
This exhaust has exceeded my expectations by a mile. If you want a better sounding car ets is the way to go. My 4 cylinder focus rs is louder than ur v8 :)
Product quality: The superior level of manufacturing is noticeable as soon as you open the box. The bends and welds are beautiful and the material is top of the line.
Fit and Installation: The fitment is perfect and dead on. You should have no issues hanging and installing in a few hours. Details: If you have issues with cutting the stock pipe, take your car and kit to a shop. If you are comfortable get a 6"-9" sawzall blade to take it off; 5" will work, but it is a pain. Buy a new V-band clamp to connect the downpipe to the midpipe, the stock one is going to be wore out. When everything is hung and ready to be tightened, get an extra set of eyes. Line up the exhaust tips how you want them and start tightening from the midpipe back to the muffler/muffler delete. The tips will shift, but this is the easiest way to get them as close to centered as possible. In my experience, this will need to be done every time you loosen the exhaust for any reason.
Sound: I've been driving with the system on for about 1k miles. I expected the tone to change as the metal heated and cooled, but there has been no audible tonal changes since installation. The pops and bangs produced with the system sound amazing and unique for the vehicle. I recommend going with the resonated pipe due to the drone. Under full throttle you are going to hear it even with the resonated pipe though it subsides, I can not imagine the deafening effect an un-resonated pipe would cause.

What does the valve simulator do?
The valve simulator is used to make the ECU think the valve in the factory exhaust is still connected and functioning.
What stainless steel material is the exhaust system made of? 409 stainless steel or 304 Stainless Steel.
We use 304SS
The valve simulator. Is that the piece that goes into the factory exhaust valve connector to keep the check engine light from coming up and enable you to still use the drive modes?
That is correct!
