You can bolt this on and notice immediate performance gains! Our intake also utilizes a custom billet 5" velocity stack to help funnel as much air as quickly as possible through our intake. This combined with a huge K&N filter gives us the most filter surface area and flow possible. The filter is specifically placed to allow the use of the factory ram air duct. If you want to keep things looking stealthy under the hood we also have an airbox available as well (You can select this from the drop downs below). This helps to isolate the intake from the hot engine bay temps and provide the coldest and most direct intake charge. After 1month of having all parts installed: ets catback exhaust, ets cold air intake and Cobb stage 2 running. I absolutely love driving my wrx everyday. So Much more power added, the sound is amazing. A quiet idle but roars louder and louder as throttle increases. Everyday I turn heads when driving by and have been complemented " awesome car man" at least 100 times. 4real thank you ETS for your part in making my car what I wanted it to be, A joy to drive.
Sweet set up, new and improved couplers. Noisy turbo things, and increased RPM (if you drive that way)
All in all a great product but definitely needs a pro-tune with install.
Only con is; I would leave the inner stock map fitting separate. I found in removing it scuffed the inside of the housing to the point were I felt I needed to dremal and smooth out the ruffness.

Just installed the ETS intake with heat shield on my 2023 WRX. I did my research on what I thought the best system is and the ETS definitely came out on top. Great product!!

Hello, this intake will fit the WRX limited 2023 model?
We haven't test fit specifically on the '23, but there shouldn't be any reason why it wouldn't work on the new model year.

Will there eventually be a CA CARB legal Intake system? Thank you in advance.
No ETS products are currently CARB approved, and we do not allow for shipping to CA addresses on the majority of our catalog for that reason.

Does this fit the 2021 Outback XT, since the 22' WRX now has the same engine?? The intake scoop, box, and all looks the same as the outback as far as orientation. I suppose if it needed to be tested would I be able to return the product if for some reason it didn't fit? Thanks!
This part is NOT compatible with the Outback, we have confirmed this with another customer who purchased the intake and attempted to test fit.

Could I get this in California if my car is not registered to California?
We cannot ship this part to CA addresses, where the vehicle is registered is irrelevant to where the parts are being shipped to.

Will it fit 2019 ascent . Since is the same engine?
We have not test fit this intake on anything other than the WRX, so we are unable to verify fitment on other models at this time.

Can I use it for SPT wrx?
There shouldn't be any reason why this intake wouldn't work, there isn't anything different about the engine from the 6MT WRX.

We have not test fit this intake on anything other than the WRX, so we are unable to verify fitment on other models at this time.

What are the dimensions of the filter? As in height and diameter.
We use the same filter with this intake as our 2015-2021 WRX - K&N RU-2800

Will it affect the manufacturer's warranty if I change the air intake?
Very few modifications can "Void" a warranty (see the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act of 1975) but a claim can be denied by a dealership if they find that a part installed by the customer is responsible for a fault on said vehicle. It is always a good idea to check with your dealership before modifying the vehicle if you are concerned about warrranty claims and aftermarket modifications.

How is it no tune required for the 22 intake?? That seems sketchy. Knowing most Subarus that’s a big no no
Because we use a MAF scaling that is similar to the stock intake, it allows for the vehicle to properly monitor the airflow through the MAF. This has been tested and verified on our own vehicle using dataloggers on the fuel trims.
If you alter the MAF scaling, you need to adjust the tune, period. Our intake doesn't alter the MAF scaling to the point that requires an adjustment! -
So will this give and power gains? Or is this solely for look and sound?
Our test vehicle is currently un-tuned, and has been driving testing fuel trims to ensure compatiblity with the OEM tune. We have sent a few of these out to independent testers with access to dynos and should have more of those results in the near future.
That being said, Fuel Trims have been spot on, and it sounds wicked! -
