Right out of the box this set looks super sexy. I got the black 3” intercooler with the ETS logo stencil, and spot anodized titanium charge pipes, as well as the short ram to match. I haven’t installed the Intercooler yet, only because I’ve been super busy, but I will say this. The customer service at ETS is absolutely top notch! They are super personable, and respond to emails very promptly. Furthermore, the packaging was very nice. It was like a perfect puzzle, all padded with quality foam, and plastic wrap. It also came in like less than a week with standard shipping. Anyways, even though they might be a tad pricier than competitors (and it really is just a tad) please do yourself a favor and buy ETS. You won’t regret it!

Is the maf housing realy 3"? It looks smaler than the piping on the pictures.
The MAF housing is 2.75" diameter and then expands up to 3.0" where the filter connection is.

Will this fit on a 2015+ wrx as well?
It does not fit the WRX model.

Do I need speed density marked yes if I have a sti with accessport and turbo back exhaust?
You only need speed density if you plan to delete the MAF. It sounds like you will want a stock MAF intake.

Do you sell an air box to protect this from water/rain?
Our 2015+ STI intake utilizes the fender as an airbox. This protects it perfectly from the elements and leaves the filter in colder air. We do this because the front bumper has ducting that directs cold air into that space.

Yes it will.

Whats is tha difference between brushed and burned difference. Also what does the speed density do
One is a solid brushed silver look. The other is burnt with purples and oranges. Speed density is an AIT bung.

Does the air filter require replacement? or is cleanable/reusable?
The air filter is cleanable. They are made for us by K&N.

What is the K&N part number for the filter for replacement?
RE-0810 should be the K&N Equivalent.

Does the speed density version have a silicone elbow to make the downward bend or is it all one pipe since there is no MAF housing?

Will this have any fitment issues on 2018 STI’s if used along with the ETS front mount intercooler kit (stock turbo location)
This will fit all 15+ STIs and does work with our FMIC.

Does this fit 2018 STI? I have heard 2018 models have an extra support beam that blocks most intakes.
Yes it does. We changed our intake to fit the 18+ models when they came out. They now fit all 15+ models.
