Great fitment on the front mount, bolts right up and clears the bumper as stated. Stock intercooler was a huge bottleneck when trying to break 300whp, this made a night / day difference. Rating based on the quality of the product, although there are some caveats which should be noted.
2016 WRX Limited -
Required removal of crash beam and a bracket on the left + right side to fit intercooler / intercooler piping.
Without ordering the ETS Chassis Support Brace you lose the tow hook / ability to side mount your plate.
One of the horns I had to flip around / bend the bracket and reposition it (Its now behind the intercooler and facing the radiator.
Second horn (passenger side) I relocated it to where the DRL resistor was and spun the horn so I could reconnect the power adapter. The intercooler piping kit doesn't clear the horn and if you have fog lights some cutting of the bumper is required. This is hidden behind the fog light covers and is minimal.

It's time to upgrade to an intercooler that is designed specifically for the 2015+ WRX with performance in mind. Unlike other manufacturers we design all of our cores per application, which results in the absolute best performing intercooler on the market.
All of our cores feature an offset and staggered internal and external fin pack. The external fin pack is dense for maximum heat transfer, where the internal fin pack is less dense for maximum flow and performance. The key is finding the perfect balance between the two, which is what we do per application.
It's common for customers to be drawn to cheaper alternatives. Unfortunately those intercoolers are cheap for a reason! Most cheap intercoolers utilize a straight through internal fin pack, which acts more like a tunnel than a splitter; This results is much higher/hotter intake air temps, which then leads to timing reduction, knock, mis-fires, detonation, etc.

- We start by locating the inlets and outlets in the middle of the core, which allows for proper air distribution and flow throughout the core.
- Each inlet and outlet is hand ported to reduce turbulence and promote maximum flow. We've seen other manufacturers simply weld on a tube and not debur the inside, which creates excess turbulence and disrupts air flow through the core.

Hello I lost the spacers that mount the intercooler to the frame. I have a 3.5 inch core. How tall are the spacers so I can go pick some up from home depot? If I cant find any would it be okay to stack washers until it reaches the same size as the spacer?
They are 5/8" thick spacers for 8mm bolts.

Approximately what difference in temps should I expect between the intake and the intake manifold after installing your product?
stock intake temps can easily get over 100 degrees F. Our intercooler will keep your intake temps within 10-20 degrees of ambient temp.
What all comes in the box does it have everything I need or so I need to buy the clamps
This is a complete kit. Every coupler, clamps, nut, and bolt you need to mount this to the car.
What are the dimensions?
The core is 26x11.5" tall.
What are the max HP levels for the different core thicknesses?
We recommend the 3" for cars making under 500. 3.5" for cars 650 and under and 4" for anything over 750.
What crash bars will accommodate the 4” thick core on a 2019 wrx base?
We don't know of one currently in production that works with our FMIC. It would need to be built custom currently but we are in the works of having one built for the customers that want one. We don't have an ETA currently though.
